Vacancy: Administration Assistant Norwich

The Yare Education Trust                  School:  Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form

 37 Hours Per Week – Term Time Plus One Week – Scale D (£14,308 – 15,153)

Job Title:  Administration Assistant – Teaching School    (Norfolk Teaching and Leadership Excellence Centre – NTLEC)

Responsible to: Director of Community and Enterprise

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Under the direction of senior colleagues, to undertake a range of administrative and organisational tasks related to the work of the Teaching School.

ORGANISATION AND RELATIONSHIPS

Undertake the day to day tasks associated with the post as agreed with the Director of Community and Enterprise.

To work in support of the Principal and the Vice Principal on Teaching School related tasks.

To work in partnership with the Facilities Manager, ICT team and Catering Company to support the use and hire of the Management Suite.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

Undertake all administrative tasks associated with the Teaching School, to include:

Processing all correspondence. ii. Processing all course applications and maintaining links with delegates. iii. Providing conference support as required. iv. Producing reports, based on data provided for, and about, the Teaching School.

Communication

Manage the Teaching School email account.

Maintain and communicate the Teaching School diary.

Governance

Provide clerking for the Teaching School Governing Body.

MARKETING

Manage the Teaching School section of the website under the direction of the Director of Community and Enterprise.

Contribute to the formation of the marketing strategy for the Teaching School.

Produce all marketing literature for the Teaching School.

MANAGEMENT SUITE

Oversee the bookings for the Management Suite of rooms.

Prepare the rooms and ensure they are ready for other bookings.

Liaise with site, ICT and catering teams etc., as required.

Promote the hire of the rooms for training purposes.

Liaise with the Finance team to ensure invoices are issued for reclaimable costs.

Produce for copying, all resources packs for conferences/meeting attendees.
