Salary              MPR + TLR2B (£4,680)

The North Essex Multi-Academy Trust was established in September 2013. It currently consists of two secondary schools and a primary school, all judged as “Good” by Ofsted.

The position will be based at The Ramsey Academy, Halstead. (“A good school with outstanding leadership and management” – Ofsted 2013) and as a result is one of the most improved schools in Essex and Nationally (Progress 8 score 2018 +0.21).

The Trust requires an enthusiastic and dynamic Raising Standards Leader to lead the academic and personal development of our students. The post will require the successful candidate to lead one of our three vertical House groups, which includes students from Year 7 to 11. In addition to supporting students, a primary focus will be to track the progress and interventions for Lower School (Years 7 & 8) and Upper School (Years 9, 10 & 11) students.

 

The role will involve working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, other Raising Standards Leaders, Pastoral Managers and Tutors. This is to raise the aspirations of our students, consequently allowing them to fulfil our aim to ‘be the best you can be.’

 

The role provides the opportunity for an outstanding teacher. They will also need the vision and ambition to help shape the future success of the Academy. The school anticipate the post will provide the successful candidate with an excellent platform from which to move on to a senior leadership post if desired.
