As a wife, mother of four grown-up children, and a proud nanny to seven lively grandchildren, Clare has always found working with children to be a central and fulfilling part of her life. Naturally positive and cheerful, she consistently seeks the silver lining in any situation. Her passion lies in supporting children—especially those who face challenges with learning and behaviour—and helping them reach their potential with patience, care, and understanding. Clare brings a wealth of real-life experience, particularly from supporting her own son, who was diagnosed with autism, ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, and Tourette’s. His school years were far from typical, and their journey together taught her the vital importance of empathy, consistency, and creative problem-solving. Life was never dull, and these experiences gave her a profound insight into the world of neurodivergent children—insight she now applies to helping others. Today, Clare continues to be surrounded by young minds with learning difficulties, this time through her grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoys spending time with them—encouraging focus, aiding concentration, and finding creative ways to make learning feel more manageable and enjoyable. Seeing even the smallest signs of progress is deeply rewarding, and she firmly believes that her personal journey allows her to connect with and support children in a unique and meaningful way. Outside of her work with children, Clare enjoys travelling with her husband, sharing meals with friends and family, and above all—embracing laughter at every opportunity. She would be honoured to bring her life experience, warmth, and enthusiasm to a role where she can help children feel seen, understood, and supported.
