Subject Specialism: Primary Teacher Duc is an experienced teacher of many years. It is always his aim to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. To engage and motivate the children, he endeavour to provide as many learning opportunities and experiences as possible to motivate their love for knowledge and understanding. Sharing learning objectives and success criteria with children is integral to a productive lesson. Knowing exactly what is expected and how they can achieve allows children to focus more clearly on tasks. This facilitates effective self and peer assessments, as there are clear criteria and objectives to assess against. This also fosters independence and empowers children to take more responsibility for their own learning. This is especially important (amongst other provisions) for children with SEN, which he also has experience in teaching within a mainstream classroom. Although he is an experienced practitioner, he is constantly reflecting on his practice to see what he can deliver better for his students, so they can achieve the very best that they can.
