Venue: Ivy Hill, Margaretting, Essex

4myschools are delighted to be continue to support ASHE and will be attending the ASHE Conference on Friday 9th July.

This year, 4myschools sponsored Matthew Syed to speak to Essex Head Teachers and The Real David Cameron and Chris Kilkenny to deliver CPD to students and staff across Essex Secondary Schools.

Working in partnership with the Suffolk Primary Head Teachers Association, 4myschools are sponsoring Sue Hugo.

Sue Hugo is a Work-life Support Senior Consultant.  She is an Associate for the Education Support Partnership. Sue taught in secondary schools for over twenty years before joining the charity in 2002. She was instrumental in the development and design of the Positive Workplace Survey, SMART training modules, and Headspace programme for school leaders. 4myschools are delighted to support this important work

4myschools Behaviour Management Through Confident Leadership CPD

Date: Monday 24th July 2017

Time: 9am – 3pm

Venue: The Mix, Stowmarket, Norfolk

Delivered by Colin Tapscott, with outstanding leadership experience over the last 30 years, this course aims to develop leadership to improve behaviour management.

This CPD is appropriate for Primary and Secondary practitioners, both teachers and support staff.

Colin Tapscott started life as the son of a farmhand, but has gone on to develop a reputation for outstanding leadership over the past 30 years. He has led organisations in both the education sector, as a headteacher of 18 years, and charity sectors and has experienced the day to day challenges of leading in high pressure environments. Colin has worked with challenging pupils for all of his headteacher career, helping staff to develop skills in managing children confidently. A regular speaker at conferences, Colin delivered a seminal TEDx talk titled “Grandad’s toolbox” – a tool for every generation’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bDTi8DV0L4  . Colin prides himself on a no-nonsense, practical, jargon-free approach to training, with content designed to inspire, develop and equip people to lead themselves in everyday situations.


4myschools Sponsors “The Real David Cameron” and Chris Kilkenny for VNET in Norfolk

Date: Friday 6th October 2017

Venue: The King’s Centre, Norwich, Norfolk

4myschools are sponsoring “The Real David Cameron” (not the ex PM) and Chris Kilkenny to present CPD to the schools working with the Viscount Nelson Education Network in Norfolk.

Chris will open the sessions with a thought provoking talk discussing his first-hand experiences of poverty and the effects on education. David will facilitate the meeting in his own inimitable and inspirational style and go on to inspire and motivate Senior Leaders.

The focus of their motivational session will be around:

  • Commitment to studies
  • Pupils conveying their learning, emotional and social needs to school staff
  • Staff initiating conversations
  • Implications of poverty on education
