4myschools pride ourselves on our expertise, and one of the reasons we have the knowledge and skills we do, is due to having honest and open conversations with schools and candidates in Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Norfolk. In every conversation we have, we learn! In a way schools, teachers and support staff are our coaches giving us continual feedback!
It might be the usual details you would expect an education agency to learn, things like a school’s staff structure and their supply and recruitment needs. Or an education professional’s experience and career goals.
But did you know we are also interested in detail like; whole school goals that you want to achieve, predicted fluctuations in the number of pupils enrolled, upcoming SEND assessments, and new software and resources that are being introduced.
By talking in-depth with teachers and support staff it is a chance for us to develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum subjects, teacher responsibilities and what skills you use to be a great teacher or learning support assistant. It could be that you as an LSA have trained in a specific technique or strategy that we had not heard of before, so we talk about how and who this would benefit and then go on to do our research.
We also receive coaching from Simone Payne, Chief Executive at 4myschools and REC elected Board Director (Recruitment and Employment Confederation), who regularly keeps us updated on the current legislation we need to adhere to from the REC.
As a Recruitment and Employment Confederation Audited in Education holder (Our version of Ofsted), 4myschools is audited to ensure that our standards exceed current expectations.
We also learn from each other, by sharing knowledge, experiences and utilising the strengths each of us have in our team, we all want to be the best we can be to serve our supply teachers, support staff and schools. We regularly give each other feedback, celebrating successes and highlighting development areas so we all become the best we can be.
