Are you a passionate and inspiring Music teacher looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Music Supply Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school in Diss, Norfolk. This is a full time role with a start date of the 1st September until 19th December 2025.
Key Responsibilities for a Music Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students for GCSE Music assessments and examinations.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular music activities, including concerts, performances, and clubs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
- Experience teaching music at secondary level, including preparing students for GCSEs.
- Passionate about music education and dedicated to fostering student engagement.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school’s ethos and culture.
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS (or willing to obtain one)
