The Role:
The School are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their committed team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils in Key Stage 2, fostering their intellectual curiosity and academic progress. You will play a vital role in developing students’ knowledge, skills, and character, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next stages of their educational journey.
**Responsibilities:**
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students’ well-being and instils a love for learning.
– Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets for improvement.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and schemes of work.
– Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on students’ progress and maintain a strong home-school partnership.
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to contribute to the wider school community.
**Requirements:**
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant academic qualifications and training.
– Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is advantageous, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
– A passion for education and a commitment to providing the best learning experience for every student.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
– An innovative and creative approach to teaching, incorporating various teaching methodologies and resources to enhance learning.
– Dedication to personal and professional development, contributing to the school’s continuous improvement.
