4myschools are working with a primary school in Hornchurch, Essex who are looking for an excellent primary teacher to join the team from September 2023. The year group for this role hasn’t been confirmed yet but will be in a KS2 class. The role is full time and paid to scale plus London Fringe allowance up to UPS 3 from the outset.
The ideal teacher will have a minimum of 4 years teaching experience with previous experience in KS2. You should be confident, creative, and enthusiastic.
This is a 3 form entry school offering a friendly, happy, and supportive environment. The school has a positive ethos and was rated Good by Ofsted in their most recent inspection. Staff are positive and feel well supported and strive to develop the potential of all their pupils; they set high expectation for their learning and behaviour and enrich social and emotional development, with strong leadership and teaching practices for children with SEND.
As the ideal Primary Teacher, you will:
Have experience teaching across KS1 – KS2, particularly in years 3-6.
Plan and deliver creative, motivating, and engaging lessons.
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience.
Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies and knowledge of UK Curriculum.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Have the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
