Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive A Level Law lessons to students.
– Nurture students’ interest in the subject and encourage critical thinking and analytical skills.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and discussion.
– Collaborate with the Law department and the wider faculty to contribute to the development of the curriculum.
– Stay updated with legal developments and adapt teaching materials accordingly.
– Provide guidance and support to students regarding university and career aspirations in the legal field.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field (essential).
– Postgraduate qualification in Law or Education (desirable).
– Teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
– Prior experience teaching Law at A Level or equivalent level.
– Strong knowledge of the legal system and current affairs.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Passionate about education and dedicated to the success of students.
– Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
– Organized, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
