4myschools are looking for a Business/Economics Teacher to join a Secondary School in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire either to start in November or January 2025 on a fixed term basis.

We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, including A-Level at a vibrant secondary school in Bishops Stortford. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping students’ understanding of business practices and economic theories, equipping them with essential skills for their academic and professional futures. This is a fixed-term role with a start date in November 2024 or January 2025.

Key Responsibilities for a Business/Economics Teacher:

– Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics at KS4 and KS5.

– Inspire and challenge students, ensuring they make progress and achieve their potential in both GCSE and A-Level courses.

– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting academic achievement.

– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Business and Economics curriculum.

– Support students with exam preparation and coursework in line with exam board requirements.

– Maintain a stimulating learning environment and uphold high standards of behaviour in the classroom.

Requirements:

– Hold **QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)** or equivalent, with a strong background in teaching Business and/or Economics.

– Have experience teaching Business and Economics at **KS4 and KS5** (GCSE and A-Level).

– Be passionate about teaching and motivating students to excel in Business and Economics.

– Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.

– Be organised, adaptable, and ready to contribute to the wider school community.
