About the Role:
This is a 1-year contract, providing maternity cover for a Key Stage 1 class. You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly school community, where you will play an integral role in inspiring and shaping young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to KS1 students.
– Planning and preparing engaging lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
– Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
– Creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
– Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive educational experience.
Ideal Candidate:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS1.
– Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
– Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
– A commitment to providing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
