Position Overview:
The School are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of our students, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement EHCP’s for students with SEN.
– Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
– Collaborate with other professionals, including teaching assistants and support staff.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
– Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
– Strong understanding of various special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
– Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
