About the Role:

Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a reputable school in Hatfield for 2 days per week. This role is initially for one term, starting in September, with the potential for extension based on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students.
– Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
– Uphold school policies and procedures, contributing to the overall school community.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across different key stages.
– Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
