4myschools are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant for a School in Danbury, Essex.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Part-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant Danbury (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a child in a school setting.
Role Overview:
– Provide 1:1 assistance, working closely with a child to support their learning and development.
– Work hours are 8:50am to 12:10pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.
– Adapt to the child’s evolving needs as hours may vary based on their individual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the child as a SEN Learning Support Assistant with their educational goals, adapting to their specific needs.
– Help foster a nurturing and supportive environment within the classroom.
– Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure the child’s educational progress.
– Monitor and report on the child’s development and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
– Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
– A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
– Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and the child as a SEN Learning Support Assistant Danbury
– Ability to be flexible and adjust to the child’s changing needs.
