4myschools are looking for a Art & Photography Teacher to work at a school in Ware, Hertfordshire.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Art and Photography Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school in Ware, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and nurture their creative talents in both traditional art and photography. This will be a full time role starting from Easter 2025 for at least one term.
Key Responsibilities for a Art & Photography Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Art and Photography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Foster a positive and creative learning environment that encourages student exploration and self-expression.
- Develop and implement assessments to monitor and support student progress.
- Contribute to the extracurricular activities within the department, including art exhibitions, photography competitions, and
- school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure the continued success of the department.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a passion for Art and Photography.
- Experience teaching Art and Photography at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge, including practical techniques, digital photography, and contemporary art practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to student development and a creative approach to teaching.
