4myschools are looking for a Art Supply Teacher to work in schools across Norwich, Norfolk.
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Art teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? We are seeking a passionate Art Supply Teacher to work with secondary schools across Norwich, delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons on a short- or medium-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and wants to make a real impact in the classroom, without the demands of a permanent role.
Responsibilities as a Art Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports artistic expression and skill development
- Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire students of all abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
- Mark and assess students’ work where required, providing constructive feedback
- Quickly adapt to new school environments and follow established departmental plans and expectations
- Contribute to the life of the school, engaging with students and supporting their personal development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Specialism in Art and Design, with strong subject knowledge
- Experience teaching in secondary schools (placements or paid experience)
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, professional attitude
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices (an enhanced DBS will be required)
