In this strategic role you will:

• Lead on whole‑school priorities (teaching & learning, behaviour, curriculum or inclusion—tailored to your strengths).
• Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with an experienced, collaborative SLT who value open dialogue and professional trust.
• Coach and develop middle leaders, driving evidence‑informed practice and raising outcomes for every learner.
• Shape policy, culture and staff CPD while modelling the school’s inclusive, aspirational ethos.

• Teaching & Learning
  Lead whole‑school pedagogy; coach middle leaders; drive evidence‑informed practice.
• Curriculum & Assessment
  Oversee curriculum review; embed effective assessment and data‑driven intervention.
• Pastoral & Behaviour
  Line‑manage year teams; uphold the highest expectations for behaviour, attendance and safeguarding.
• Inclusion & SEND
  Champion inclusive practice; coordinate wave‑1 and targeted provision.
• Sixth‑Form Excellence
  Shape Post‑16 strategy; raise academic and destinations outcomes.
• Staff Development
  Lead professional learning; design pathways for ECTs, RQTs and aspiring leaders.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status with a strong record of outstanding classroom practice.
• Proven middle‑ or senior‑leadership experience, including whole‑school impact.
• Excellent data literacy and the ability to translate analysis into strategic action.
• Expertise in at least one of the strategic strands listed above.
• Unwavering commitment to inclusivity, safeguarding and high expectations for every learner.
• Inspirational communicator who builds trust, motivates staff and students, and models our school values.
