We are seeking an Assistant Chef in a school kitchen to support the Chef Manager with food preparation and service to student. This part-time role is term time plus training/cleaning days, with a 15-minute unpaid break. Ideally, candidates will have experience in an educational setting, a good understanding of Health and Safety, knowledge of Government Nutritional Standards and allergy awareness, and hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality and a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, with familiarity in completing risk assessments considered advantageous.
