About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students in their day-to-day learning when teachers are absent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Ensure students remain on task and follow the set work
- Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment
- Report back to teaching staff on student behaviour and engagement
Requirements:
- Ideally degree-educated or with relevant classroom experience
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage behaviour and engage students
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
