New vacancy! Cover Supervisor – Mansfield
This is a Secondary School job.
4myschools are working with schools in and around Mansfield and we are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to provide classroom cover when teachers are absent, supervising students across key stages and ensuring work is completed. Maintain a calm, safe, and productive environment, manage behaviour, take registers, and report back to teaching staff. May support small groups or pupils with additional needs. Flexible role covering different subjects and year groups, including primary and secondary settings. Must be professional, reliable, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding and positive student engagement. Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience leading groups of students or be willing to gain experience through voluntary shadowing to ensure you are fully prepared to take on lessons independently. This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the chance to work closely with students while gaining valuable classroom experience. Graduates in specific subjects are encouraged to apply, as are individuals looking to gain hands-on teaching experience before embarking on a teaching career..
