4myschools are looking for a Daily Supply Secondary Teacher to work in schools across St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher looking for flexibility and variety in your teaching career? We’re currently seeking adaptable and committed Daily Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in the St Albans area.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy new challenges, want to maintain a healthy work-life balance, and are keen to make a positive impact across a range of school settings.
Responsibilities as a Daily Supply Secondary Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across different year groups
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students’ learning and development, ensuring all pupils meet their potential
- Provide continuity and consistency for students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and clear communication regarding lesson plans
- Maintain a high standard of teaching practice and adhere to the school’s policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in primary education (preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different teaching environments
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed
