This is a Primary School job.
A village Primary school, located on the outskirts of Clacton-On-Sea, are looking for an experienced EYFS LSA to provide 1:1 basis support to a child that has joined their nursery class. The child had individual needs and is pre-verbal so your role will has a focus on language development, and using supportive resources, such as PECS to promote two-way communication. There will also be some personal care responsibilities involved in this role.

The Ideal Candidate
To be successfully shortlisted for this position you will need to have a valid paediatric first aid certificate, knowledge of the EYFS framework and experience of supporting SEND, in particular SLCN. You will need to be available Monday-Friday 08:30am-3:30pm term-time only. It is essential that you have strong communication, both verbal and written, as you will be a role model for the language development of this and other children within this nursery class and you will be writing up your obsevrations for the EYFS framework and SENCO..
