Job Type: Part-Time, Regular 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday)
Daily Rate: £85-£95 per day
EYFS TA Woodbridge. Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant eager to make a meaningful impact in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? We are looking for a dedicated TA to support learners in a mixed preschool and reception class. This role offers the chance to engage with pupils of varying abilities through play-based learning and is available for an immediate start, with potential for ongoing work. For those interested, additional hours may be available from Monday to Wednesday assisting in KS1 and KS2.
Duties include Providing in-class assistance throughout the EYFS, focusing on motivating and supporting pupils through creative and engaging play-based learning activities.
All TAs get a 30-minute lunch break, before or after, you will supervise children in the playground.

Responsibilities for Part-Time EYFS TA Woodbridge (Thursday to Friday) – Woodbridge:
- Deliver in-class support tailored to individual needs, engaging pupils and enhancing their learning experience.
- Collaborate with class teachers to adapt and deliver activities that meet the needs of all learners.
- Utilize Thrive-based strategies (if applicable) to foster pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Create and maintain a calm, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels encouraged to learn and grow.
- Supervise and ensure children’s safety during lunch breaks and playground time, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive behaviour, participation, and a love for learning.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within an EYFS or primary school setting.
- Thrive training (highly desirable) or a strong commitment to supporting children’s social and emotional needs.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience to engage and motivate young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance pupils’ well-being and academic development.
- Passion for nurturing a positive and inclusive learning environment.
