4myschools are looking for a EYFS Teacher to work at a Primary School in Swaffham, Norfolk.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS 1 Teacher to join our vibrant team and cover a maternity leave starting in September 2025. This is a full-time role within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and creating a nurturing, stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners.
As an EYFS 1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering children’s development, ensuring they feel safe, engaged, and excited about their learning journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic team in a school that values creativity, inclusivity, and the importance of early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities for a EYFS Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons across EYFS following the national curriculum.
- Support the development of children’s academic, social, and emotional well-being.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
- Use assessment to monitor and track progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other staff members, sharing best practices and contributing to the wider school community.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with EYFS children (desirable but not essential).
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a focus on individualized learning.
- An understanding of the importance of fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
