We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Fixed Term Geography Teacher to join our dynamic school in Sawbridgeworth. This is a fixed-term role with a January Start to cover a maternity contract until July 2025. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive and thriving environment. You will be teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities for a Fixed Term Geography Teacher
– Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
– Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Geography and achieve their full potential.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive and high-achieving department.
– Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in line with the school’s ethos.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
– Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
