Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher for a school in Ipswich, Suffolk. This part-time position, which begins in January, offers you the chance to inspire and educate students in food technology. You will be teaching students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging food technology lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore and experiment with food.
Evaluate and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive food technology program.
Promote a strong awareness of food safety and hygiene practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food technology.
Experience teaching food technology at various levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
