4myschools are looking for a Teacher of Geography (with PD/RS desirable) to work at a Secondary School in Norwich, Norfolk.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Norwich from September 2025. This is a full-time, temporary position for at least the duration of the 2025–26 academic year.
The ability to also teach Personal Development (PD) and/or Religious Studies (RS) is highly desirable and would support a broader curriculum offering.
Key Responsibilities for a Teacher of Geography (with PD/RS desirable):
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Ideally, contribute to the teaching of PD and/or RS as part of a wider humanities or PSHE curriculum
- Monitor student progress, assess learning, and provide effective feedback
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular opportunities
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography (and ideally PD/RS)
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a bonus)
- Passion for inspiring young people through engaging and relevant learning
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative, flexible approach and a commitment to continuous professional development
