4myschools are looking for a Health & Social Care Teacher to work at a Secondary School in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Hatfield on a part-time, fixed-term basis, September Start – November working 4 days per week. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to make a meaningful impact over a short-term period.
Key Responsibilities for a Health & Social Care Teacher :
- Deliver engaging and informative Health & Social Care lessons to students at KS4 and/or KS5
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to pupils and parents/carers
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider curriculum and pastoral needs of students
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5 (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for health and social care education
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
