We are working with a well-established and supportive primary school in Basildon seeking a talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their experienced EYFS/KS1 team from September 2025. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to make a lasting impact in a nurturing and collaborative environment.
🔍 The Role:
Delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, covering planned sessions and supporting in class.
Leading targeted interventions once PPA sessions have been completed.
Working closely with an experienced team committed to inclusive education and child-centred learning.
Supporting children with high needs – with robust support structures already in place.
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) with strong experience across KS1, and ideally some exposure to EYFS.
Have a proactive, flexible, and positive approach.
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a passion for helping children progress.
Be confident leading groups and delivering planned lessons in a structured, nurturing way.
