About the Role: As an HLTA at this vibrant faith-based school in Basildon, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality support to teachers and pupils across EYFS and KS1. Your role will include assisting with PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time, delivering interventions, and helping with general classroom duties. You will be part of a collaborative and experienced team, committed to supporting students in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to EYFS and KS1 pupils during lessons.
Lead and assist with small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
Support teachers during PPA time, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of lessons.
Work closely with the SENCO to ensure students with additional needs are supported.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Build strong, supportive relationships with both staff and pupils.

About You:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent) and experience working in EYFS/KS1.
A passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
Experience in delivering interventions and supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.

An understanding and respect for the values of a faith-based school environment.
