Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a permanent role in a supportive and welcoming school environment? Immediate start on a full time basis.
About the Role:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of neurodivergent students by providing targeted interventions, facilitating inclusive teaching strategies, and working closely with staff, students, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The role will also have a leading focus on improving attendance ensuring that those with ADHD/ASD attend school regularly.
Key Responsibilities for a HLTA for Neurodiversity:
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of lessons.
- Supporting the learning and development of neurodivergent students
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Working alongside teachers to monitor and assess student progress.
- Providing tailored support for students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
HLTA for Neurodiversity Position
- A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with children with Neurodiversity
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- A passion for supporting student learning and development.
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS or willing to obtain one.
