A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Hatfield is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role on a minimum one-year contract, ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported environment.
The Role:
You will deliver engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with flexibility to teach History, Geography, or Religious Education depending on your expertise. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and enthusiastic faculty committed to academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities for a Humanities Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more Humanities subjects.
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Contribute to the wider school life, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to high standards and inclusive education.
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
