We are seeking an experienced and passionate Interim Headteacher to lead our vibrant and caring primary school in Norwich from September 2025. Key Responsibilities for a Interim Primary Headteacher:
- Leading the school in achieving its vision for high standards in education, progress, and achievement
- Maintaining and further developing a nurturing, inclusive environment for both staff and students
- Leading by example, promoting the school’s ethos, values, and commitment to diversity and equality
- Ensuring the continued development of our curriculum to meet the needs of all learners
- Working collaboratively with staff, governors, and the wider community to drive forward improvements
- Supporting and developing a team of committed and talented staff
- Acting as a strong ambassador for the school, building strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and external partners
Requirements:
- An experienced leader with a strong track record in primary education, ideally with prior experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher
- Passionate about improving educational outcomes and providing the highest quality learning experiences for all students
- A visionary and strategic thinker, able to lead and inspire a diverse community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage staff, pupils, and the wider school community
- Committed to nurturing a positive and inclusive school culture
- Experienced in leading and supporting staff development and wellbeing
- Able to start in September 2025 for the interim duration of the role
