Overview:

Are you a passionate teacher ready to take on the challenge of leading a Primary class? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Qualified Teacher to join a school in Southend to cover a maternity, the first Month-6 Weeks of this role will involve running interventions for small groups of children until a maternity leave starts where you will take over the Lower KS2 Teacher. This position is initially temporary and flexible to cover on a supply basis but has the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

👩‍🏫 Lead engaging and inspiring Intervention lessons for KS1 and KS2 students

🤝 Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities, fostering a holistic approach to learning.

📝 Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour, adhering to school policies and procedures.

🔍 Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.

Requirements:

🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.

👩‍🎓 Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum. Intervention and Year 3 Teacher Southend On Sea

🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
