Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant for KS1 Support
Location: Swaffham, Norfolk
Pay: £70-£85 per day

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in Norwich. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable support to children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, fostering their academic progress and overall well-being.

Position Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant supporting KS1, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualized and group support to students aged 4 to 7. You will assist in implementing educational plans, facilitating classroom activities, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere. Your role will contribute significantly to the academic and personal development of our students.
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support during lessons, working with small groups or individual students as needed.
Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning materials.
Support students in their social and emotional development, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with the teaching team to address the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school leadership about student progress and concerns.
Requirement:
Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
A passion for supporting the educational journey of young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
L3 qualification in childcare and Education or similar
Desired Attributes:
Teaching Assistant qualification is a plus.
Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students.
Familiarity with educational technology and tools.
First aid certification (or willingness to obtain one).
