About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Witham who are seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This position offers flexibility with hours, and is open to both experienced TAs and those newer to the role who bring enthusiasm and a genuine desire to support children’s learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Providing targeted support to individual pupils and small groups
- Assisting with classroom preparation and general administrative duties
- Helping to create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children (especially KS2 preferred)
- A patient, nurturing and positive approach to supporting pupils
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
