We’re recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school that is launching a brand-new Autistic Resource Base. This exciting temp-to-perm opportunity starts after half term, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

As A  Learning Support Assistant, You Will:

Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support for pupils with Autism, guiding them toward success.
Assist in delivering personalised learning activities, using tailored strategies and educational tools.
Support the development and implementation of EHCP’S tracking progress along the way.
Use trauma-informed practices to support behaviour positively and effectively.
Champion pupil engagement through the use of educational technology and creative resources.
Take part in school life, including enrichment activities and school events that build a sense of belonging.

This School Are Looking for Someone Who:

Has experience working with children—especially those with ASC or additional needs (preferred but not essential).
Brings patience, empathy, and adaptability to every challenge.
Communicates clearly and confidently with pupils, families, and colleagues.
Embraces educational technology to enhance learning.
Believes in inclusion, equality, and the power of education to change lives.
