Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Contract: Fixed-term (until July 2029 – child leaves at the end of Year 6)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am – 3:10 pm
Start Date: 6th January 2025
The Role
You will be supporting a Year 1 pupil with specific medical needs, providing one-to-one assistance to help them thrive academically and socially. A patient, empathetic, and resourceful individual in this rewarding role collaborates effectively with teaching staff, medical professionals, and parents to ensure the child’s educational and medical needs are seamlessly met.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in supporting pupils in a school setting (preferred).
A caring and adaptable approach to working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Learning Support Assistant Job Dengie
A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Basic medical knowledge or a willingness to undertake training related to the child’s needs.
