👦 Role: 1:1 Support for a Child with Autism
Are you a compassionate, dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a lasting impact in a child’s life? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harlow to recruit a full-time LSA to support a Year 1 child with autism on a 1:1 basis.
✅ About the Role:
- Provide tailored support and interventions for a child with autism in Year 1
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP strategies
- Build a strong, nurturing relationship with the pupil to help them thrive socially and academically
- Monitor and track progress, adjusting support as needed
✅ About You:
- Previous experience supporting children with autism or special educational needs (SEN)
- Calm, patient and adaptable with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about inclusive education and making a difference
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential
