We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Ipswich. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to make a real difference by providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. This is a varied and rewarding position, the pupils present with a range of needs, including ADHD, ASD, and emotional regulation difficulties. You’ll provide academic support, help with emotional wellbeing, and adapt learning materials to suit individual abilities. The use of alternative communication methods such as PECS, visual timetables, and structured routines is central to this role.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal LSA will have previous SEN experience in a school or similar setting. You will help tailor sessions to suit the individual needs of each child. Use visual and communication aids such as PECs and Makaton. Help create a safe and fun learning environment for the children in your care..
