Learning Support Assistant – South Woodham Ferrers – Immediate Start
Are you a caring and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding role in education? We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and supportive one-form entry primary school in South Woodham Ferrers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children’s learning and development.
The Role:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with a 1-hour break)
- The break can be combined with a Midday Assistant (MDA) role for additional hours
- Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of children
- Helping children to engage with learning, build confidence, and develop key skills
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCO to support individual learning plans
What We’re Looking For:
- A patient, positive, and kind individual who enjoys working with children
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with students, teachers, and parents
- A team player who can follow instructions and use initiative when needed
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
- You do not have to be Catholic, but you should be supportive of the school’s ethos
