Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development through play? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / OPAL Play Coordinator to join a vibrant primary school in Chelmsford.
The Role:
As an LSA / OPAL Play Coordinator, you will:
Support children in their learning and development, both in and out of the classroom
Lead and encourage engaging outdoor play and learning activities in line with the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) approach
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive play environment
Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote positive play experiences
Ensure children develop social, emotional, and teamwork skills through outdoor activities
About You:
Experience working with children in a school or play-based setting (preferred)
A passion for outdoor learning and creative play
Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to engage with children of all abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
