The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children with autism and additional needs (school-based experience preferred). A caring and adaptable approach, with strong communication skills. Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or other SEN strategies (desirable but not essential). Ability to build a positive and trusting relationship with the child and staff. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous..
