Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a daily supply basis in Hopton, Norfolk. If you’re passionate about working with young children and supporting their early years development, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Working closely with other practitioners, you will support children’s development, engage them in activities that enhance their learning, and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure children’s well-being and safety at all times
- Support children in their social, emotional, and educational development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and nap times
- Contribute to the development of individual learning plans for children
- Support the creation and maintenance of a clean, tidy, and organised learning environment
Requirements:
Level 2 Nursery Practitioner Position
- A Level 2 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, friendly, and approachable manner with a genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different environments
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- A commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS (or willing to obtain one)
