Are you an inspiring and committed Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? We are proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chelmsford, who are seeking a dedicated Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
📍 Location: Chelmsford, Essex
📅 Working Days: Monday & Tuesday
🕘 Start Date: September 2025
📄 Contract: Permanent or Long-Term – school is flexible for the right candidate
💰 Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking school that prides itself on nurturing both pupils and staff. You will be working with a vibrant and well-behaved class of Lower Key Stage 2 pupils, supported by a strong team of teaching assistants and senior leaders. The role is ideal for a teacher who is looking to make a big impact on a part-time basis, with two focused teaching days per week.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. The school encourages collaboration, so planning is often shared across the year group, and you will have dedicated PPA time.
🧑🏫 About You:
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent, relevant experience teaching in KS2 (LKS2 preferred)
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and creative teaching strategies
- Can build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Is reflective, proactive, and passionate about high-quality education
- Is reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to be part of a strong team
