4myschools are working on behalf of a new school, based just outside of Wisbech, specialising in SEMH and ASD.

With a countryside location, set across 8 acres, and brand new resources such as a sensory garden and specialist sensory room, the school’s aim is to offer a therapeutic approach via tailored learning environments, academic development, multi-disciplinary support and interventions, and outdoor education.

The school opens with its first students in September 2025 and the school are recruiting a qualified teacher to join their team, and teach KS3 Maths. Classes will be made up of 6 pupils with EHCPs for SEMH and/or ASD. In addition to academic and vocational qualifications you will have the opportunity to teach the ‘Life and Social Skills curriculum’  and transferrable skills via the Farm School and Outdoor Education. The student’s will have the additional support of LSAs and other professionals such as therapeutic practitioners for Equine therapy, Animal therapy, Lego, Draw and Talk, and Music; all of whom will liaise with you providing a strong support network for you and the student and promoting a holistic approach.

• Team work: You will become part of a team of professionals
• Reliability: Consistency is key

Desirable but not essential requirements:

• Previous experience of working with SEND or vulnerable people: if you have the desire to make a lasting, positive, impact on those who are facing daily challenges and a genuine interest in helping people to identify their strengths and see opportunity within that; then a role in SEND and Alternative Education could be ideal for you!
• Have an Enhanced, Child workforce, Disclosure, that is on the update service
