This is a Primary School job.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Nursery Assistant / TA to join our nursery attached to a primary school, supporting children aged 2 to 5. This is a hands-on role, helping children explore, learn, and develop through play-based sessions in a safe and stimulating environment. The role involves supporting children’s creativity, exploration, and learning through play, encouraging EYFS development including fine and gross motor skills, and assisting children in understanding social situations such as sharing, turn-taking, and role play. The successful candidate will support a mix of children, some attending full-day sessions and others attending morning or afternoon sessions, while working collaboratively with the nursery team to plan and deliver engaging activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be patient, nurturing, and able to form trusting relationships quickly. They should be confident implementing strategies to support learning and emotional wellbeing. Ideally have a L3 qualification in childcare but not essential.
