4myschools are looking for a Part time Cover Supervisor to work in Secondary Schools across Norwich, Norfolk on a supply basis.
Are you confident, adaptable, and looking to support secondary education in a flexible, part-time role? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work on a part-time basis in schools across Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the classroom without the full responsibilities of a qualified teacher.
Key Responsibilities for a Part time Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher across a variety of subjects.
- Ensure a calm, focused classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
- Support the wider school team as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (e.g., in a school, youth work, or tutoring).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility and confidence working across different subjects and year groups.
- Ability to engage with and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
