Are you a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher seeking a flexible part-time role in a welcoming school environment? We are working on behalf of a highly regarded primary school in Chelmsford that is looking to appoint a part-time KS2 Class Teacher for a maternity cover contract starting in September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community, excellent leadership, and a genuine commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will work Wednesday to Friday each week, delivering a rich, engaging curriculum that supports and challenges all learners.

Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in KS2
A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment strategies
Excellent classroom management and a commitment to pupil progress and well-being
A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
Availability to commit to the full duration of the maternity cover
